Samsung 85" Class R95H Micro RGB 4K Smart TV (2026)

R95H Expert Take

The R95H is Samsung's flagship Micro RGB TV for 2026 — and it represents a genuine leap forward in LCD picture quality. Using individual red, green, and blue LEDs instead of a traditional white backlight, the R95H delivers 100% BT.2020 color coverage, Glare Free coating, and precise local dimming that rivals OLED in many viewing conditions. Add in the Timeless Frame design, Wireless One Connect Ready, and HDR10+ Advanced support, and this is the most impressive LCD TV Samsung has ever made. If you want the best picture quality without going to OLED, this is it.

Best for: Buyers who want the absolute best LCD picture quality, bright room performance, and a premium design statement.

Consider instead: The S95H QD-OLED if you prioritize perfect blacks over brightness. The R85H if you want Micro RGB technology at a lower price point.
