The Frame 2026 (LS03HE) Expert Take
The Frame is the TV for people who want their wall to look beautiful even when the TV is off. In Art Mode, the matte anti-glare display shows museum-quality artwork from Samsung's Art Store — paintings, photography, and prints that actually look like canvas, not a screen. When it's on, you get a full QLED 4K picture with Quantum Dot color, Glare Free coating, and the same customizable bezel system as the Frame Pro. The 2026 model adds Vision AI processing and supports Art Mode with a built-in motion sensor that wakes the display when you walk by.
The standard Frame uses Dual LED edge backlighting (rather than the Frame Pro's Mini LED with local dimming), which keeps the price accessible while still delivering excellent brightness and color for most rooms. If your primary use case is displaying art with TV viewing as a secondary feature, this is the model that makes the most sense.
Best for: Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and any space where the TV needs to look like part of the décor. Anyone who values the Frame aesthetic but doesn't need Mini LED picture performance or the Wireless One Connect Box.
