The Best 100-Inch and Larger TVs of 2026
Quick answer
For most people, the best 100-inch TV in 2026 is the Samsung 100" QN80H Neo QLED ($4,499.99). It is bright enough for a sunny family room, handles fast sports at 144Hz and is a true 100 inches. If you want the biggest screen, the 115" QN90F is on closeout at $13,999.99. For the best picture at this size, choose the 100" R85H Micro RGB ($12,999). On a tighter budget, the 98" U9000H ($1,499.99) is the most affordable way to go big.
Ten years ago a 100-inch picture meant a projector and a dark room. Today you can hang a bright, sharp 4K TV that size on the wall for less than many 65-inch TVs used to cost. The hard part is choosing, because big TVs differ more than small ones. Brightness, glare handling and motion all matter more when the screen fills your view.
We sell big screens every day across our 11 Maryland and Virginia showrooms. Here's how we would choose in 2026.

Best overall: Samsung 100" QN80H Neo QLED
The QN80H is the TV we recommend most for a 100-inch wall. Its Mini LED backlight gets bright enough to hold up in a living room with windows. Motion Xcelerator 144Hz keeps football and fast action smooth, and it's a full 100 inches, not 98. For a family room that's used day and night, it's the safest choice. See the 100-inch collection.
Biggest screen: Samsung 115" QN90F (closeout)
If you want the most screen you can buy without a projector, the 115" QN90F is it. It pairs Samsung's anti-glare screen with Mini LED brightness, so it works in a bright room as well as a basement theater. Samsung didn't make a 2026 QN90, which is why the remaining 2025 stock is on closeout at $13,999.99. That's less than half its original price. It's on display at our Towson, Westminster and Waldorf showrooms. See where to see a 115-inch TV in person.
Best picture: Samsung 100" R85H Micro RGB
Micro RGB is Samsung's newest TV technology. Instead of a white backlight, it uses tiny red, green and blue LEDs, which gives richer, more accurate color than any Neo QLED. At 100 inches, the R85H is the TV to choose if picture quality matters most and the budget allows. The S95H, R85H and R95H are sold at our showrooms and on our website, and you won't find them on Amazon or other third-party sites. Read more in our R95H vs R85H comparison.
Best value: Samsung 98" U9000H and DU9000
If you mainly want size, the 98" U9000H ($1,499.99) and the 2024 DU9000 ($1,399.99) are the most affordable big screens we sell. They're sharp 4K TVs with good everyday picture quality. They aren't as bright as Neo QLED, and they don't have local dimming, so they're best in rooms where you can control the light.
What about TCL and Hisense?
Reviewers rate TCL's QM8L and Hisense's 100-inch U8 highly for value, and they are good TVs. We carry Samsung only. That lets our team know every model in depth, and our showrooms back every TV with local white-glove delivery and lifetime tech support. Whatever brand you lean toward, compare big TVs in person under real room lighting before you buy.
Before you buy a 100-inch TV
- Viewing distance: about 10 to 14 feet suits a 98" to 115" screen.
- Wall width: a 100" TV is about 7.3 feet wide, and a 115" is more than 8 feet wide.
- Getting it inside: measure doorways, stairs and turns. Big TVs ship in big boxes.
- Mounting: very large TVs often need a professional install on studs or a reinforced wall. See our mounting and installation guide.
- Sound: a big picture deserves bigger sound. See the best Samsung soundbar for your TV.

For most people, the Samsung 100-inch QN80H Neo QLED ($4,499.99) is the best choice. It is bright, smooth for sports at 144Hz and a true 100 inches. For the best picture, the 100-inch R85H Micro RGB ($12,999) is a step up.
What is the biggest TV I can buy?
The Samsung 115-inch QN90F is the biggest TV we sell. It is on closeout at $13,999.99 while supplies last and is on display at our Towson, Westminster and Waldorf showrooms.

The Samsung 98-inch DU9000 is $1,399.99 and the 2026 98-inch U9000H is $1,499.99. They are the most affordable big screens we sell.
How far should I sit from a 100-inch TV?
About 10 to 14 feet works well for a 98-inch to 115-inch 4K TV. With 4K, you can sit closer than older guidelines suggest.
Is a 100-inch TV worth it over a projector?
For most living rooms, yes. A 100-inch TV is far brighter than a typical home projector, so it stays watchable with the lights on or the blinds open, and there is no screen or bulb to replace.
